This Eddie Craig sounds like a real ****** bag. I had more than 40 years in law enforcement and was never trained to go on a fishing expedition when making a stop. Only with some other probable cause like the smell of alcohol or drugs would the additional questions be asked. I would be willing to bet if Craig was on a sheriff dept. that he was let go because of some cause.

When stopped, stay in your vehicle unless the officer asks you to exit. Informing the officer that you have a CCW is up to you. However if the weapon is visible you will want to inform the officer immediately. Be cooperative with the officer and you will have no problem.

More people talked me into a ticket than talked me out of one.
