Very well said! The "marks" give it character. I view my guns as tools and not "looky what I've got" objects de art. Just like brand new cars: there's a door ding coming! Shoot it...enjoy it!

I somehow put a scratch on my new S&W engraved 1911. It's been bugging me like crazy. Until now, I kind of considered this gun as purty art.
