I just brought home my Remington 870 Asylum GatekeeperII. I was wondering if I should sling it like shamrocker or go with a Voodoo Shotgun Scabbard. That brought up a couple of questions:

1. Is there enough thickness on the plastic grip to mount (drill and screw in) a lug for a sling swivel, if I want to attach a sling?
2. I think I'll attach a hand strap to the fore end. Would that interfere with a sling?
3. If I want to use a Voodoo Scabbard, is there enough room to accommodate a sidesaddle with extra shells?
