2. --SOLD-- An extremely accurate S prefix 6 1/2" S&W model 25-2 .45ACP which retains 98-99% of its original bright blue factory finish. This vintage revolver from late 1962 has an excellent bore, cylinder timing and lock up. It has target hammer, target trigger and factory target presentation stocks. Serial number range is S 227XXX which indicates a mfg date of 1962. All 6 chamber throats measure .450" which accounts for the revolver's ability to shoot 3/4" - 1" C to C 6 shot groups with match ammo at 25 yards. If you've been looking for a vintage, super accurate model 25-2 in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, you've got one to consider.
