I thought the posting looked familiar and that I remembered seeing it. Back in the early 1980s I had a brief fling (which didn't last long) with handgun metallic silhouette shooting. I was using a Model 29 and not doing too well with it. I seem to remember that the XP-100 rebarreled in .35 Remington was fairly popular among that group of shooters. I guess it knocked over those steel turkeys better.
