As others have said, it's a buyer's market right now. For $25.00 more, you can get a new one. I have the 40c, and while it's a good pistol, it's neither fish nor fowl. Too big for a carry gun, too small for a target/range piece.

Just my opinion, of course, but that deal doesn't do anything for me. I saw a Shield today for $309.00, and with Smith's $75.00 rebate, that's going to out the hurt on the Compact's sales, I would bet.
