I have both the Kimber K6 and a 640. Both are rock solid. Neither has a commanding lead over the other. If I could only have one...Kimber K6. I like to have 6 shots and the gun is super smooth. On the other hand, the price is way too high. I bit the bullet and bought one because I am a "snubbie guy." It was sort of an academic exercise. My advice to most folks who are at all price sensitive would be to opt for the 640 pro before dropping $900 in the Kimber. The 640 is top notch too. Hell, I can't decide for you. They are both great. More holster / grip options for 640.
