When I heard that it was being discontinued,I bought everything I could find.I use it almost exclusively in my Sharps 45-70 with cast bullet loads;with heavies I might add(425 to 535gr.)
I've checked the loading charts and while it could be used in large magnum handgun calibers,I found that it is not too efficient(too slow burning) and thus not very accurate.But your findings may vary on that point.
Since it is very usefull with cast bullet rifle loads and if you don't cast or use cast bullets in rifles,you can opt for one of the next 2 options:
A)use it for reduced loads under jacketed bullet loads or
B)make a donation to Qc Pistolero Fund

Joking aside,a clean and usefull powder;doesn't meeter good through powder dispenser but at the price you got it,hey!what the heck!
