Its my understanding when both guns arrived at the factory they do an initial inspect on them and quote you what they think needs done . They called me with both guns in their sights and asked what I wanted done, the 586 I wanted the canted barrel fixed and a pin for the extractor housing replaced , thats it. the other gun I just wanted a cylinder reblasted due to carrying it and it had sweat marks and was shinny , thats it , they said it would be better to blast the whole gun since just the cylinder was 90 bucks and the whole gun around 170 , the gentleman wrote it on a piece of paper and put them in the box they came in . HERE is where I beleive they were swapped. they do have the other gun which they are holding while they investigate they say . I still have no resolution, but have been contacted , will keep everyone posted
