I was polite until polite didn't work anymore.

That was the point where they started telling me they were going to do things I specifically told them NOT to do without my explicit consent.

After a little bit of that, my lawyer friend sent their general counsel a "courteous" letter explaining how things were going to be.

I'm certainly not "whole" now, but at least my gun no longer looks like it was gone after by a ten year old with a set of naked vice grips.
