Have one of the first scandium 1911's to come out. Great gun. It's wearing a Kimber .22 conversion top side right now and shoots just fine. The only 1911 I like better is my martially marked Remington Rand from WWII, but I don't shoot that one much as it's as old as I am. Hell of a shooter though and is all original.
