In my humble opinion the pre-64 model 70 Winchester 30:06 was,
and is, the greatest rifle ever made. I owned one when I was a young
buck in SW Montana. Bear, Elk, Dear, Antelope, etc. etc. I swear it
never missed. Gave it away in 2000. Yes, I am crazy.
P.S. The Weaver K4 had a lot to do with the amazing accuracy.
