After taking mine off to do some ramp and chamber polishing then seeing the front sight and gas block don't even align with the vertical pin/axis, I wouldn't give $5 for another S&W barrel. On top of that, the "
thing on the end of the barrel" wasn't aligned. It was flashing to the left and pushing my barrel to the right. That was an easy fix and I don't use the stock sights so the rifle is not a total loss.
