This is left over from some project guns I was working
pre-27 3 1/2" barrel
It was refinished in nickel by Fords Gun Finishes in Crystal River, Fl. One of the best.
Has not be installed since refinished. The serial #'s were removed before re-finishing with only the S prefix letter left on.

Original S&W factory nickel finish in like new condition.

PS: the cylinders extractor star is left hand threaded.
S&W changed the extractor rod from right hand to left hand thread in 1960 (27-1), if you have a right hand thread rod and need the left, I have a new never used left hand thread I would trade you for.
