I just acquired SN: 111652 without box and tools for slightly over six hundred prior to sales tax. Mine showed no wear but a slight turn-line. I would easily of paid a hundred more for it. Then, I would of paid a hundred more for the box and etc. You see my point. The two prices are coming closer and closer together. My sales tax was sixty dollars more, and you are getting one without sales tax.
A lot will depend upon the availability and local price of nice older revolvers in your area. In my area, a thousand is closer to the price of a Model 27.
