The three Myerchin knives I ordered came in today, a folder, a fixed blade and a Swiss Army Knife takeoff. I'm 600 miles from the sea so I won't be cutting any rigging, untying knots with the marlinspike or unscrewing shackles. However the knives are very sturdy and the workmanship is excellent; they'd serve as good hunting knives. They'll go into my collection but the little "klondike churchkey' is going to be tried as a replacement for my SAK Tinker. It's a lot smaller, the blade is only 2 inches, but it should do the job.
