Never use snap caps, they are only for training purposes. I pull bullets from
22s, fire the primer mixture, and use the empty as a snap cap. You can not get a fired 22 back into the chamber. I get about 5 or 6 uses from each snap cap. I never leave any of my guns cocked in storage.
