Both of you left out, in my opinion, the prettiest part of your revolvers. Especially on the long barrel, the top strap is a thing of beauty and amazement.
I recently purchased a 95% + example Model 27-2 for right at $900 including sales tax. It is blued and I would think a nickel example would be worth at least 20% more.
Here is a picture of mine of vintage 1979 and SN: 111652. It is hard to get the long barrel in one picture. LOL
