If you have the football targets in the box, then you have the original grips that came on it. And if I'm not mistaken, when our guns shipped (after 1975 or so) a presentation case was also included with the model 27 pistols. The original owner might have swapped it for the speedloader targets in the past, maybe. Anyways, you have one fine pistol that will give you a lifetime of shooting pleasure. As for a guesstimate on value, I would say your pistol with original grips, box and tools is worth $1k or higher. You will probably have folks that will say less, but it might be a regional thing or whatever. Shooter grade maybe, but not a pristine gun. Anyways, you never pay too much, but it is possible to buy one a little too early.
