Yep, welcome to my world, Bill. Prices on model 27's seem to have spiked quite a bit in the last year or so. Even the 8 3/8 barrel guns are going for high prices. I bought my long tom off GB and a 6" nickel 27-2 from here on the forums this year and both were well north of $1000. But also, both were unfired when I got them and had presentation cases in good condition too. Those 2 purchases completed my 27 collection out, having one of each common barrel length. I need to get around to making a group pic of them all together now.
