Its a keeper for me. I'm proud to be a S&W owner. Looks like I got a good deal, the jeep parts cost me $260 new. Used value about $150.00. It's too fine a revolver to let go. Refinished or otherwise, its still a great piece of history and it has held up very well for over 70 years old. Most importantly, fun to shoot.
