In 2002, they introduced the 610-3 with IL, and in 2005 the 610 was discontinued from catalog (SCSW).

There was also a special production of 300 Lew Horton 610-2's in 3".

A variety of configurations from barrels of 3, 4, 5, & 6.5, rubber & wood grips, fluted and unfluted cylinders.

Highly desirable and pricey. See Gunbroker!
Great summation!
Only thing I would add regarding Gun Broker is check for those that actually sell - not those with ridiculous starting prices.
Additionally, S&W has dropped models only to reintroduce later. The 657 is one so while it might be slim - the 610 may not be totally DEAD!!
S&W much like James Bond - never say NEVER!! Anything is possible even though now with their bounty of pistols their producing some revolvers might 'return' - our fondest wish!!!!!
