Ditto (target illumination) ....................... + a hand held light (searches)....... + a single AA or AAA light in your pocket.. which is the one you will use 99% of the time
Have a TLR3 (100 lumens) on a M&P9 and a TLR1 (300 lumens) on my Beretta 9mm carbine.
