Renewed my CDL recently even though I don't need it per se I thought it good to retain. Made an appointment on my off day, short wait and had all the required paperwork. Could have been almost in and out but since I was excepted intrastate I needed proof of employment by the entitled entity and since it was my day off I did not have my city I.D.
I handed over my union card and pulled the plant parking pass out of my car and was good to go.
