The guns with the first 3 letters on the serial number are difficult. I don't see any CAS serials in the S&W standard catalog, But it show all the CAM through CAZ serials as being in 1996. Have no idea on value. Some of the "special models" of this era had low production numbers and have some premium to the right buyer. Some do not.
