Product Code 101286 is listed in the standard S & W reference as you see yours, laser engraved 6" barrel, .44 Magnum. No mention of year or production number but I would be very surprised if more than a few hundred were made. If you like a letter of authenticity would tell you the date and destination of shipment from the factory, and production numbers if known:
