My MIL moved out to the country because she wanted horses and for the wholesome lifestyle. The neighbor on one side was a psychopath and the other was a criminal. Oh, she was a real cutie drug runner who got all of her 'boyfriends' to steal for her, MAYBE for some type of 'favors'
My MIL was constantly being robbed of saddle tack, tillers, you name it. My MIL came home one day to find her talking to one of her 'boyfriends' in an A/C repair truck in her driveway by her house and in front of her garage. (It's about 1/8 mile from the street. What the hell was she doing there? I know I didn't call those A/C people for any repairs because I'd probably get robbed blind after he 'cased' the place out.
