My guess is they won't introduce specialty barrels any time soon if ever. They appear to be focused on producing a very serviceable low cost gun that can be upgraded with aftermarket parts. I have both the Volquartsen barrels and really like the lightweight carbon fiber wrapped one for shooting in steel matches.

The 22 Victory is a real bargain compared to the Ruger Mark IV.
