From the commercial cast bullet supplies I see blue lube and red lube.

The 240gr SWC 44 caliber bullets I buy have the blue lube and cost 7.7 cents each after shipping added.
There's the same amount of smoke as from similar bullets that cost almost twice as much.
I've never experienced too much smoke from my hand loads.
Shooting indoors you may tend to notice the smoke more depending on the ability of the range's ventilation system.
Outdoors it's a non issue for me.
