Yeah, I know, 300 rds. aint much. But! when I go to shoot, I have to drive 15 miles to the "Family Farm".
Each time, I have to take as many of my "pets" that I want to shoot.
Which ALWAYS includes my CETME 7.62...a AK47...usually my AK63DS...and one, or two, of my bolt rifles...98K, Mosin, K31...etc.
Being "new" to the AR platform...I have compared it with my others.
PROS.
No.1 S&W have provided a budget priced, accurate, reliable
weapon.
No.2 Light, almost "Toy" like. Compared to my CETME.
No.3 Cheap, available ammo.
No.4 "Urban Warfare" is the "nitche" this gun is designed for.
Zombies anyone? I would grab it in a SHTF situation.
No.5 Lifetime Warranty.

CONS.
No.1 Even extended, the stock seems "short" on the length of
pull, that I am used to. My AK's were the same...but I
"fixed" that with a Tapco folder on one, and a 2 inch pad
on the other..The CETME is just right.
No.2 Not really an issue, range shooting, BUT! the hand guard
would heat up in constant use. After 3 30rd. mags, full
on, this thing was HOT.

Conclusion: For my intended use...I will change the hand guard
for a heat shielded, maybe vertical gripped version.
Other than that...It will "Do"....
