Due to the fact that the pistol has import marks referring to century arms on the barrel, I doubt the story about the French pilot is true. More than likely it was part of an imported lot of Manurhin revolvers that were surplus police? Once I pick up the revolver I will look up the serial number and see if it's possible to find date of mfg. maybe that will help piece together its history.
