I also encountered back pain while carrying my Glock 19 with owb holster.
Didn't realize that was causing my pain. Went to the doctor who told me he didn't see anything wrong. I eventually realized it was the gun causing my pain, and switched to a Kel-Tec PF9... problem solved. About 1/2 the weight of the Glock.
