FWIW, given the same point of aim, faster or lighter bullets tend to shoot lower than slower or heavier ones because a handgun muzzle has less time to rise before the bullet is out of the barrel and on its way to the target. Faster AND lighter bullets tend to shoot even lower. So having to raise the point of aim (by adjusting or replacing sights) is the norm when shifting to lighter and/or faster bullets.
