Send it back to Smith and ask for your money to be refunded. I once had the same Bodyguard as you describe, and I sent it back to the factory 3 times for FTF or FTE, and each time it came back with the same problem.On the fourth trip back I asked for, and received, a full refund including sales tax. I have since bought Ruger LCP's, Taurus TCP's and Keltec K3at's and have had nary a problem. YMMV
