I shoot my Model 19 better than any other handgun I've ever shot. I shoot .38 Specials out of it the vast majority of time but I keep familiar with .357 Magnum loads since that's what's loaded in my 19 for home defense. Now if, God forbid, I had to make just one or two shots count with a handgun to protect my loved ones, I'd want my Combat Magnum in my hands.
