I would jump on that with both feet. Model 66 with a 4 inch barrel is a darn near ideal revolver. Police revolvers were carried a lot but used little and generaly taken care of. My model 64 trade in is the finest shooting gun I own. Stainless steel never gets the finish worn off, a little polishing and it's good to go . Look it over for any serious problems , then do it.
