Anyone ever have a chance to shoot guns with these two grips side by side?

I started out with the 500 grips on my 69 but just got back from the range after putting on a set of the Packmayr Diamond Pros. Before I went to the range my initial impression was that the 500 grips felt better but the Packmayrs were more compact. The Packmayrs seemed a little fat but the 500 grips just felt right. But after shooting the gun I think the Diamond Pros do a better job of cushioning the recoil. It has been several weeks since I shot the gun with the 500 grips and unless I compare side by side or at least on the same day my memory sometimes plays tricks on me.

Next time I take the 69 to the range I am going to take both grips but I would be interested what others that have tried both think.

For now I am going to keep the Diamond Pros on since the gun fits well into a Hill People Gear bag I have with those grips on but is a tight fit with the 500 grips.
