In the late 19th Century, Winchester did offer a "Star" brand shotshell, but I have no detailed information about them. I do know that boxes of "Star" shells are very rare and very, very valuable, but I have no idea as to the value of an original wood shipping crate. I would not surprised to find out it could be worth much more than you might imagine. I suggest you post it on the International Ammunition Association's website for more informed opinions, as you are very likely to get some there. That's where all the big-time ammo collectors hang out. I have a very similar 19th Century UMC 10 gauge wood shipping crate, but yours is in much better condition than mine.
