Howdy,

I bought a 19-3 a few weeks ago, cleaned it, then put it in the safe and went on vacation for a few weeks.

Arrived home last night, opened the safe today to fondle my new beauty and the cylinder would not open. VERY difficult, but I finally got it opened. At first I though there as something under the extractor star. Nope. Then I noticed the "plunger" on the extractor star (see photo ... I may have the terminology wrong) is stiff and won't budge. I can't push it in with my finger. On all my other S&W's the "plunger" is easy to push in. Any idea what's wrong and how do I fix it?
