As a matter of curiosity, how close to the stated length, is the actual measured length of a S&W mod. 27 revolver bbl? I just measured one of mine, a nickeled S&W Mod. 27, listed as a 6" bbl., when it's actually only 5 15/16". I only have a total of four 27s, a 3.5" blued, that measures 3.5", a 6" blued that measures 6", and a 8 3/8" blued, that measures 8 3/8", all of the others measures their stated length, but, my nickeled mod. 27 listed at 6", is a good, full, 1/6" short of 6". Is that unusual?
