Perhaps not any better but I'd say they're as durable and stable. A benefit of the M-LOK system is you can add assorted length rails sections along the sides, top / bottom as needed yet still enjoy the smooth and normally smaller diameter hand guard surface. Has more utility and ergonomics than a quad. Especially beneficial to those with hands and not hooves or paws. No lesser number of accessories and very cost effective.
