Could you try with the stock hammer spring in? There are custom spring makers in the UK that you can get made to order springs from, a quick google will prove that. I was going to get copies of the springs in my 15-22 but....meh aint broke...yada yada. All you need are the dimensions of the Hillman #9 an you can get a couple made over here. Just a thought. Either that or sell the Timney and get a Hiperfire 24C and never have another light strike ever again
