I have my first 15-22 on the way and thought I’d pre-purchase a few minor upgrades while I wait, one of which is the highly-regarded replacement extractor from Volquartsen. $10 seemed reasonable. Little did I know, until the package arrived today, that it’s a thin sliver of steel barely larger than a nail clipping. Based on size/price ratio I would expect the thing to be made out of 24k gold.
