Hoag Master Grade Colt Gold Cup .45 *price reduced*
Selling my Jim Hoag-built Master Grade Colt Gold Cup. Mr. Hoag was one of the real pioneers in customs 1911s and BHPs. The Master Grade was his top of the line gun.
- checkered front strap and mainspring housing
- squared and checkered trigger guard (many consider his squared trigger guards the best done)
- trigger job with Commander hammer and Hoag's trademark oval hole
- beveled mag well
- real Bomar adjustable rear sight and silver-soldered improved ramp front sight
- Hoag beavertail grip safety, speed safety and extended slide stop
- fitted match bushing and full length guide rod
- obviously, a full reliability job
- hard chrome lower, blued upper
While the gun has been shot, and shows a few marks, nothing offensive. I have replaced the recoil and firing pin spring to be cautious.
I am not the original, or second owner. No work order, but besides the obvious Hoag touches, the underside of the slide is makes as he always did.
