Rm 2787 (53644) shipped Aug 31, 1937, so you’re close. Enjoy it. Are you gonna shoot it or preserve it? And you need to letter it and get the historical docs.
I see he was transferred out in Dec of 37. I’m guessing they presented him the gun at that time.
