Open the cylinder the model is stamped on the frame there.
The old hand written labels included the engineering change level (dash number), but S&W stopped putting the dash # on labels when they transitioned to computer printing. As stated above, look in the frame cut for the change level.

Prices vary by location and venue, but I’d value the pair between $1000 and $1100. If they were presented to me, I’d start by offering $900.
