I had a 25-5 6" w/presentation case I bought used in 1982 or 3 for $200 OTD. I shot Federal 225 LSWC/HP/HB ammo. I used to drive a nail in a 10 or 12 inch tree and then hang targets off that nail. That was never a problem with 22's! Together My dad, brother & I cut down a tree in 6 years with 38's. It took about 3 months for the 45 Colt to cut down a 12" tree. So, I went to 30" trees! I haven't been in that woods since we sold it in 2012 but that tree is still easy to identify!

Threads like this make me want to cry! I sold both my 25-5's (4" & 6")in 1985, and I really miss them!
