I was at a show earlier this year. It was early and a gentleman was still setting up his table. He pulled a Model 1950 Army .45 out of a plastic tub and set it on the table. I saw this old, aged price tag tied to the trigger guard and my heart skipped a beat. I asked the seller if I could examine it and he said sure, but then gave me one of those looks and said "that price tag is wrong, I'll put a new one on it in a minute". I paid several times the old tag amount but still got a fair deal by today's market.
