Quite honestly my most recent handgun purchase was a really clean model 19-4 4" factory Nickel gun that I picked up about six months ago for five bills out the door. I was not even looking for anything in particular, and this thing just popped up.
You just have to be in the right place at the right time. Now I have three model 19s two four inch dash fours and a 2.5 inch dash five that I got at very good prices. It happens, but sitting at home waiting for it to happen rarely produces positive results. Bring cash.

I hear ya. Problem is I'm always looking stuff up, can't really afford to buy a gun right now and I have like 20 I really want so I just keep looking and looking because the couple gun stores around me have no mint old school guns that I want pretty much ever. I'll find what I want eventually, but I am not big on patients. I'd end up spending more on a gun just to get one I want. It's just crazy that I see all the time people on here that find amazing deals. I'm happy for them, but I'd like to get in on the nice deals once in a while!
