This is an old thread but it has had a post so I will up date it . Clements doesn't do conversions on any Smith revolvers any more . He will , as of my last email from him convert a GP-100 to 41 special . At the time he said converting the Ruger was a bit cheaper than a Smith . He went on to claim that the Ruger would stand up better over long use than the Smith 686 . Regards, Paul
